The active ingredient in my facial moisturizer is Jojoba oil – an anti-bacterial agent that is very effective in preventing and treating infections of the skin. Also used as an anti-inflammatory, Jojoba oil can reduce the painful swelling and redness that so often accompanies a skin injury.

Jojoba oil can benefit younger skin just as much as it benefits older skin as an acne treatment. Since jojoba oil is non-greasy and a natural antiseptic, it can be a very effective treatment for acne as it both cleanses and moisturizes the skin at the same time.
